The Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chickasaw Bluff Lakes Clubhouse, 2168 Sequoyah Drive, Hernando, MS 38632 (corner of Sequoyah Dr. and Mattaha Dr.). This meeting is one of the best opportunities each year to connect with neighbors, stay informed, and have a voice in the direction of our community. DeSoto County Spring Cleanup – April 11 – 19, 2026
Help keep DeSoto County Beautiful by cleaning up your community and home. This year’s Annual Spring Cleanup Week will be from April 11th-19th. There will be 14 dumpsters placed across the County.

DeSoto County Household Hazardous Waste Day – May 2, 2026 from 8a.m. until noon
DeSoto County Environmental Services is offering a safe way for residents to dispose items classified as Hazardous Household Waste. Household Hazardous Waste Day and Waste Tire Recycle will be on May 2nd from 8am to Noon. It will be held at the Landers Center southeast corner parking lot at Turman Drive and Pepper Chase Drive.
