Please review and follow the rules below to ensure everyone can enjoy our lakes for years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd12 Private Lakes \u2014 Residents &amp; Guests Only<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Our lakes are <strong>private<\/strong> and are for the <strong>exclusive use of lot owners and their guests<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lot owners and their guests must carry a valid fishing card<\/strong> when using the lakes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A maximum of 2 adult guests<\/strong> may fish per card <strong>without the lot owner present<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lot owners are fully responsible<\/strong> for the actions of their guests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udc1f Fishing Rules<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Trot lines and jug fishing are prohibited.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow all <strong>Mississippi state fishing regulations<\/strong> in addition to CBLMA rules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Grass carp are <em>not<\/em> to be caught or kept<\/strong>. These fish are stocked solely for weed control and are not intended for sport or consumption.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Crappie:<\/strong> Please <strong>keep all crappie<\/strong> caught. This helps prevent overpopulation, which can affect water quality and other species.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bass:<\/strong> You are <strong>welcome to keep bass under 15 inches<\/strong> in length. Practice <strong>catch and release<\/strong> whenever possible with larger fish to support a healthy bass population. ecosystem.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udea4 Boat Rules<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>All boats regardless of size or type<\/strong> <strong>must be visibly marked<\/strong> with: <strong>&#8220;CB&#8221; followed by the owner\u2019s lot number<\/strong> <em>(Example: CB-1234)<\/em>. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If your boat stays on the lake, this would be best permanently stickered or stencilled onto the boat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All guests must also have their boats clearly marked with \u201cCB\u201d and the lot number of the guest card they are using. This can be as simple as the the numbers clearly and largely written on a piece of cardboard taped to the back of a seat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Motor Regulations:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Short shaft motors up to 6 HP<\/strong> are permitted on most boats.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pontoon boats may use long shaft motors up to 9.9 HP<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>No larger motors are allowed<\/strong> to be used on any lake.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please ensure all boats are properly secured to docks or property when not in use or out of the water.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operate boats responsibly. Be courteous, maintain low speeds, and avoid creating wakes near shorelines to avoid erosion. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf3f Lake Stewardship &amp; Safety<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Clean boats and gear before and after use<\/strong> to help prevent the spread of invasive aquatic weeds like Southern Naiad.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Take your trash with you.<\/strong> Please help us keep the lakes clean for everyone by packing out all bait containers, fishing line, and litter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udc6e Resident Authority &amp; Enforcement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All lakes are <strong>clearly marked as private property<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lot owners have the right to ask anyone fishing to show their valid fishing card<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a person cannot produce a card, <strong>lot owners have the authority to ask them to leave<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If someone refuses to leave, this constitutes <strong>trespassing on private property<\/strong>, and the <strong>Sheriff\u2019s Office may be contacted<\/strong> to enforce removal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udcdd Please remain courteous and calm in these situations. Your right to protect community property is supported by local law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 By using the lakes, all residents and guests agree to abide by these rules.
