Chickasaw Bluff Lakes is hosting a Spring Clean-Up Day to coincide with DeSoto County’s Spring Clean-up initiative. We are asking everyone to come out and help us clean up the neighborhood. If we all pitch in and clean a small section, we can quickly clean-up trash throughout our neighborhood. Let’s get our neighborhood ready for spring.
When: April 13, 2024 at 9:00 am
Where to Meet: The CBL Clubhouse at the corner of Sequoyah & Mattaha
The Plan:
All volunteers will meet up at the clubhouse and be supplied with trash bags and other supplies needed to help collect trash around the neighborhood. Organizers will divide up roads and areas so we can spread out and make an impact on the whole neighborhood.
DeSoto County will be sponsoring a Spring Clean-Up throughout the county this same week and will have dumpsters around the county available for all residents to use. Our closest dumpster location will be at the Eudora Park. In addition to the Neighborhood Clean-up Day this will be a great time to do some Spring cleaning around your property and home with a convenient dumpster nearby to dispose of unwanted trash and household items. If you have tires or other hazardous waste not allowed in the dumpsters, DeSoto Count will also be hosted a Household Hazardous Waste Day and Waste Tire Recycle on May 4, 2024 from 8aa.m. to noon.
